delicate band sapphire ring-Vintage 1930's Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring

A splendid vintage five stone Diamond crossover engagement ring dating to the 1930's/40's and beautifully crafted in fine Platinum. The dreamy hand cut Diamonds which sparkle their dance across the finger are all antique; older than the ring and recycled at the time of its making. Each of these gems is a world unto itself, quirkily faceted perhaps as much as two centuries ago in The captivating rolling glitter which they emit when the light hits their surfaces is so magical... see their high profiles from a side view... each with their own personality they have so much history and interest (take a look at our magnified images).

The design shows a curvaceous Art Nouveau influence, but is in the (fabulously fashionable at the time) white metal Platinum and as such shows a modern vibe which would have been much admired. 100% recycled and so ethically sound, choosing a vintage engagement ring also gives you individuality and the intimacy of hand craftmanship.

Each of the Diamonds measures at least 0.12ct and so there is a combined weight of around 0.60ct and also the delightfully tiny twinkles to the curved shoulders.

The ring size is an 'R' or '8.5' as is but can easily be altered to suit her new owner.
